Stoneware saucer thrown with a blend of heavily textured iron-rich clays, covered with painterly brushstrokes of a white stoneware slip and finished with brushstrokes of a glaze made from silver birch ash. Cirrus tumblers nestle satisfyingly into these saucers.

Slightly textured, tactile finish. Clay left raw on the outer surface.

Cirrus Collection: Clouds predicting good weather; the churn of ocean waves; water cascading over river rocks. Eyes lost in the movement of the outside world.

Dimensions: approximately 12-12.5 cm ø x 2.5-3 cm H.

Discontinued: I have stopped making these saucers and they are thrown with a heavily-grogged clay that I no longer use (outer surface is polished to be smooth).
