Iron-rich stoneware lidded jar, covered with painterly brushstrokes of a white stoneware slip and finished with brushstrokes of a glaze made from silver birch ash. Textured, tactile outer finish.

Cirrus Collection: Clouds predicting good weather; the churn of ocean waves; water cascading over river rocks. Eyes lost in the movement of the outside world.

A characterful, joyful object. Perfect for holding seashells and pinecones, or a secret stash of sweeties.

Dimensions: approximately 11 cm H.

Second: This second has several glaze blisters than have been re-glazed and re-fired and/or polished. They are visible but smooth (see final photo). The lid also has a slight wobble to it when placed on the jar.
