Stoneware mug with brushstrokes of a wild clay slip and an apple wood ash glaze made from small branches we pruned from our apple tree.

Each mug is thrown on the potter’s wheel to a similar height but each is given its own curvy, characterful shape. The brushstrokes of wild clay and apple wood ash glaze on each mug are unique, as is the subtle hand-carved decoration.

Lightly hand carved. Textured, tactile outer finish. Smooth, glassy, transparent inner surface.

Holds approx. 250 ml

Dimensions: approx. 7.25-7.5 cm upper ø x 8.5 cm H. For best care, wash by hand.
