cirrus tumbler - early design (second 1)

cirrus tumbler - early design (second 1)
Stoneware tumbler thrown with a blend of textured iron-rich clays, covered with painterly brushstrokes of a white stoneware slip and finished with brushstrokes of a glaze made from silver birch ash. Finished on the inside with a brilliant white, glossy glaze. Rim is left raw and the clay is polished to be smooth.
Textured, tactile outer finish. Smooth, glassy inner surface. A versatile cup - perfect for freshly squeezed OJ, cold brew, or a glass of wine.
Cirrus Collection: Clouds predicting good weather; the churn of ocean waves; water cascading over river rocks. Eyes lost in the movement of the outside world.
Holds approx. 225 ml.
Dimensions: approx. 7.5 cm upper ø x 8 cm H.
Early version: This is an older version of the cirrus tumbler. The rim is left as raw clay to provide a visual point of contrast. The clay rim is polished to be smooth.
Second: Profile of cup is not a curved as the standard cirrus tumbler.
